When you hire Stonewood Construction you are hiring a company with craftsmanship and communication as their highest priority we also thinks of the little things when building to make your home more comfortable and easier to maintain like where is the water going from your downspout and making sure it's not going across your sidewalk creating ice for someone to slip and fall in the winter months.

When installing replacement windows, we take a little different approach whenever we can. We will remove the siding or trim board around the window to get at the nailing flange like your original windows have, properly flash with typar housewrap, if needed then install the new window that has a nailing flange, properly tape to manufacturer's' specs. By doing the install this way, it will ensure a longer lasting window. Most other installers like to cut the nailing flange and insert a window without a nailing flange, they just caulk around the window and screw the window secure from the inside. It's cheaper and easier because they don't have to remove the siding. Caulking will not last as long as properly installed window.

When Stonewood Construction installs Typar house wrap we give a manufacture and installation warranty so you know it's installed correctly. Although you never see or think about house wrap, it is a very important part of your homes protection. If any house wrap is installed incorrectly, it could damage your home. Typar is also more durable than most all other brands.

When we install LP smart siding ,we always seal the cut ends keeping in compliance with all the manufacture specs. That goes for all the different siding we install we always make sure we install with manufactures specs giving you a craftsmanship installed job.

We install a waterproof tape on your deck framing that will seal around the deck screws keeping moisture from penetrating into the deck framing helping preventing rotting making your deck last years longer. these are the little details and our craftsmanship that truly set us apart from everyone else.
